Her publicist, Kristen Foster, announced that The Associated Press will be the pool camera for the Saturday ceremony in Newark, New Jersey, and the AP will stream the service on livestream.com/aplive. Houston died in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday at the age of 48. Her body was flown back to her native New Jersey on Monday. Houston's family raised the possibility of holding a wake Thursday and funeral Friday at Newark's Prudential Center, an arena that hosts college and professional sport events and seats about 18,000 people.

Funeral arrangements were being made by Newark's Whigham Funeral Home, which handled the 2003 funeral of Houston's father, John Houston, according to the two people who spoke to the AP.

After Years of battling with drug addiction and a range of personal issues, Whitney Houston was found Unresponsive at a Beverly Hotel Suite and later pronounced dead Saturday 12th Febuary 2012. Whitney was 48 years old.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has been released from hospital after ambulance was called to the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where Bobbi Kristina was staying with her mother, in response to a concern about her health. The 18-year-old was said to be suffering from anxiety.

According to a press release sent to ABC News, Bobbi Kristina was transported from the hotel at 10:26 a.m. local time to Cedars-Sinai Hospital and was "awake and alert" at the time.
