Ever since Kanye West signed African artists, D’banj and Don Jazzy, to his G.O.O.D Music label, the former friends and business partners have been at odds with one another.
In a recent interview, D’banj opened up about the ongoing feud between him and Don Jazzy, and mentioned that he would never cheat Don Jazzy knowing that JJC (of JJC and the 419 Squad) had cheated Don Jazzy in the past.

Genevieve Nnaji To Star Alongside Thandie Newton & Others In “Half Of A Yellow Sun”

‘I AM NOT MARRIED’ – KAREN IGHO
BBA Amplified winner Karen Igho has denied reports that she’s engaged. The reality TV show winner recently put a picture of a hand with a ring on it on her twitter page, along with certain comments insinuating she was being proposed to.
Although her reps confirmed the news as at that time, a release disregarding the information was sent to us on Friday, April 27, 2012 by one of her reps, TalkROC.
The release stated that the tweets were ‘random thoughts’ from Karen after an admirer and fan proposed to her; ‘Celebrities often experience the same thing; Ms Igho only tweeted about one of such experience randomly. Hence, Ms Karen Igho reaffirms, “I am not married yet; but I am fully engaged to my passion in entertainment – acting and modeling; while actively promoting good causes and charity”.
Apparently, the picture of the ringed finger was not Karen’s, but her sister’s, and was part of the mischievous ploy to make the news sound believable.

ABOUT TEETO CEEMOS
Teeto Ceemos - real name, Toyin Tito Salako - was born and raised in Lagos in the early 80's. He fell in love with rap music in the early 90's after being surrounded by it throughout his pre-adolescent years. By the time he graduated from secondary school, Teeto was fully immersed in Hip-Hop music and the culture, even briefly forming a now-defunct rap group called Knights Of The Turn Table.
He moved on to further his education in the University of Lagos where he became a revered battle rap legend. He eventually dropped his first mixtape to critical acclaim from audiences in and out of his university. Little did he know that this would be the prequel to his involvement in the Channel O/Sprite Emcee Africa competition in 2008, where he emerged as Nigeria’s winner.
He then proceeded to Johannesburg for the grand finale where he emerged as runner-up after squaring off with acts from Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Ghana & South Africa. He returned home and moved on to develop himself as an artist and as fate would have it, he teamed up with Knighthouse’s Mo’Cheddah & Sauce Kid to record one of the biggest songs in 2009, “The Finest”. His first single "Oshamo” featuring Capital Hill Artist and Producer Tha Suspect had a cultural/homegrown vibe to it and was a flagrant display of the rapper's versatility which did quite well on charts and still gets airplay on local TV and radio stations till date.
In 2010, his team (Freshboy Entertainment & Cash In Records producer/Artist Ex-O) teamed up with Soundcity Blast to release his Da Freshness mixtape which was widely accepted by fans and critics alike. Teeto also recently released another Freshboy/Knighthouse collaboration titled "Footprints (Kami)" which features the amazing Iye on vocals with production from Knighthouse in-house producer and Red Bull Music Academy alumni, DJ Klem.
Teeto & his team have been working tenaciously on his debut album which is set to drop later in 2012 and we implore you to expect nothing but the BEST...

Okyeame Kwame says he deserved the VGMA for Best Video, and mocks Cabo Snoop
Rapper, Okyeame Kwame on Wednesday evening spoke candidly to Yaw Sakyi, the host of The Rundown on TV Africa, on how he felt about last weekend’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. When asked if he was satisfied with winning a total of 3 awards, he said he expected more. He particularly wanted to win the Best Video of the Year nod because he felt it was strong, relevant and very different from the rest.
The rapper said he didn’t want to take anything away from the winner, ‘African Woman’ by Becca but hinted that he was just being selfish and ‘political’. He said one of favourite highlights from the award ceremony was seeing Funny Face push Chris Attoh to speak fluent Twi.
He also commented on the performance of Angolan guest artist, Cabo Snoop. Okyeame said he was happy that Cabo Snoop came to ‘fool around’ on stage so that Ghanaians would appreciate the musical talent that abounds in Ghana. He described the Angolan as a DJ who just got on a dance beat that people liked.
Okyeame Kwame’s song, ‘Faithful’ featuring Bertha won the VGMA for Best Collaboration and Best Songwriter, and his campaign on Hepatitis B won him the award for Music for Development.

Not-So-Bad video, the video cameo’s choice FM DJ, DJ Neptizzle, Eddie Kadi, Stay Jay and a surprise verse by Donaeo in the video. Awesome aye? What happened to the teaser though? DJ Don X Presents Unstoppable "Do It" Mix 8
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit" - Aristotle ...And Don X has proven this quote time and time again.
DJ Don X releases the follow up to his Unstoppable Mix series and this one is set to surpass the "xDorsed" mix 7 with 42 tracks in this 80 minutes set; feel free to share good music, most importantly good African music.
DJ Don X Bio. A true new age innovator.
The first image that comes to mind when you imagine a DJ is some non-descript fellow on turntables getting the party rocking. DJ Don X trumps that. Born Damola Epemolu in Paris, France, he spent his growing years in Lagos, Nigeria. He possesses amongst many other things a calm suave that transcends being a DJ, incredible talent and an undying passion for music in all its forms. With a Disc Jockeying career that tracks as far back as 2006, he brings an outlook on music that is fresh and modern, yet retains ties to the classics of the past.
He merges the cultures from the various metropolitan areas in which he has resided – Lagos, New York, Maryland and Washington DC. With a depth fuelled by his musical influences: Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, and Michael Jackson; he has repeatedly served a wide range of palettes as far as music is concerned. From Reggae/Dancehall, to African World beats, UK Funky House, Top 40 Pop and what has come to be identified as the Nigerian Sound; DJ Don X’s limits are boundless. This is evidenced by his weekly “#TGIF Quick Mix” that has become a staple to a constantly growing web community from different parts of the globe.
He is a member of The Disc Jockey Association of Nigeria (DJAN), Naija DJs – dubbed the hottest worldwide coalition of Nigerian DJs as well as The International Disc Jockey Trade Association (IDJTA) and The Core DJs. He has performed at venues around the world including London, Canada, Nigeria and nationwide in the United States. He has worked with notable event production companies the likes of PartyAddicts Worldwide, NRC, Lifestyles Royalty, Amebor, Sixtee Events, ImageIn and Musicon Inc to name a few. Also, in recognition of his giant strides on the wheels of steel, Channel O was in DC and London to record an interview with him for their third season of 100% Naija. Over the past five years, he has been associated in various capacities with Nigeria’s biggest acts both old and new from eLDee to Olu Maintain, Faze, Timaya, Bracket and Jedi to name a few.
