Rapper, Bamidele Citizen was born and raised in the Northern part of Nigeria. As a kid he grew up listening to guys like Shabba Ranks, Aswad and Fresh Prince, but as he grew older a more conscious sense of music took over, it was only a matter of time before he fell in love with vibes from Tupac and Nas.
DelCity as he is musically known as, studied Theatre Arts and Radio Production at the Lagos State University. He is passionate about music and his energy is eminent in his music and stories.
Here we have two of his debut singles: “Carry Turkey” produced/featuring Sossick and Kejie; he also has “See Me Now”, produced/featuring Tyrone, Bio and Otis.
The beat chefs on these songs are seasoned and have been credited for a handful of hit songs and topnotch productions. Sossick’s discography is just too long to mention – a quick one will be Dagrin’s ‘CEO’ album and Tiwa Savage’s “Ife Wa Gbono”.
Some songs on Ruggedman’s ‘UNTOUCHABLE’ album were touched by Tyrone. He is also an in-house producer at Cool and Wazobia Fm.
DelCity is signed to DDD (3D) Entertainment and working with Fluid Entertainment - a PR company owned by former line producer of HipTv, Augusta Bernard aka Baby.
