Designer Maki Oh,Makes History As First African Designer Invited To The White House! Check Out The Photos

Two nights ago (Oct. 8) in Washington DC, Nigerian designer Maki-Oh (Maki Osakwe) made history as the first African designer to be invited by the First Lady to the White House. Maki Oh was invited by Michelle Obama as one of her favourite designers!
Nice one Maki!
Back in 2013 Mrs. Obama rocked a Maki Oh top while on her African tour…I’m still upset at the Obamas for not coming to Naija…LOL
But I digress, the event tagged, “’CELEBRATION OF DESIGN’: MICHELLE OBAMA INVITES HER FAVOURITE DESIGNERS, took place yesterday – Oct. 8th at The White House. Maki Osakwe who attended the historical event with her parents rubbed shoulders with Naomi Campbell, Diane von Furstenberg, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, Narciso Rodriguez, Naeem Khan and Georgina Chapman.
