Bag design is one of the most exciting areas of the fashion market at the moment and this course will inspire all those who love bags. This exciting design course will offer you an insight into the wonderful world of Vintage clutch bags and framed purses designing. Under the expert guidance of the Uk trained tutor you’ll be guided through creating a range of vintage bags (with coordinating purses , clutch or wallets).
Once confident in the basics of designing and researching, you’ll be given a variety of projects to work on involving designing bags for different lifestyles and occasions. The course will guide students through the process of researching concepts; investigating suitable fabric and fittings; cutting from a pattern; introducing them to basic sewing skills machines; and developing their final ideas.

Introduction to basic sewing skills on bag machines
Important technical information for using specialist machinery
Creating a clutch bag/purse structure, framework
Introduction to Bag Accessories and Bag decoration ( beading, hand embroidery etc)
