NEW MUSIC: "DANCE" BY NEW ACT - PELLI

Rising act - Pelli has emerged with fresh materials, abundance of talent, fresh energy, and a serious passion to take over the urban music scene.

Presently poised as the next big thing in music with the release of his latest offering "Dance (Mumu Urself)" already enjoying massive radio airplay in Nigeria, Pelli says he is more than ready to take over the Nigerian music scene with his unique style of music.

Signed to Raindrop music, Pelli’s new single reveals he is a diverse artiste with versatility that is second to none. And his yet untitled debut album will show that he has a lot to offer lovers of good music with songs that reveal the intelligence of a natural songwriter.

It hasn’t always been rosy for Chike Uffundu A.K.A Pelli whose music career saw him go through the phase of miming to his favorite music bands to enrolling for Mr. Heartland pageant: (where he emerged the first runner up). After a few years, the political science graduate of the Imo State University moved to Lagos and actively started recording and writing new songs. He enrolled and won the first edition of 'Do Your Thing': a talent hunt held in Lagos.

In 2011, he signed to Raindrop Music and released his first single “Turn Her on” in April 2012. And now, after months of working hard to find his voice again, the ladies’ man is back in full circulation, getting ready to take over the music scene with his second body of work. “Dance”.

With two singles already rocking radioland, and a video (for Dance) already on the way, Pelli says he’s grabbing 2012 with both arms, putting his best foot forward to make sure he records a spectacular outing this year.

"I’ve practically been living in the studios for months now", says Pelli, who recently signed up with Lagos-based label Raindrop Music. "It’s been a period of mixed blessings; I’m glad I’m getting such amazing support for my career, and I’m humbled by the growth I’ve recorded since the release of Dance”.

"We’re thinking outside the box", he says. "And that will reflect in everything you see Pelli involved in from my style, to the music, the videos and performances".

Photos : On Set Of R2Bees & Wiz Kid’s ‘Dance’ Video Shoot

R2bees’ supposed-to-be big song is not doing well right now. I mean from you have WIzkid on your song, it’s supposed to be big by all means. The song titled ‘Dance’ is enjoying it’s time in the clubs but not any better on the radio. Could it be that Killbeatz didn’t kill the beat this time or the lyrics wasn’t so powerful or is it simply the groove? Well pictures below show they are shooting the video to the song and just as it does mostly, maybe the video will boost things for them. R2bees’ last video with Wande Coal didn’t get good comments from both critics ad fans maybe this time, they won’t disappoint us. We can’t wait for the video. Check out the photos below. Is that ‘Dee Money’ on the right?

"Would Be Honoured To Have Manchester United Players Dance Oliver Twist"- D'banj Tells SkySports

Nigerian Pop star D'banj was interviewed by SkySports . He talked about how he felt when Rio Ferdinand expressed his love for his debut UK single 'Oliver Twist' to his 2.6million Twitter followers . With Red Devils midfielder Tom Cleverley also waxing lyrical about the infectious tune all over the twittersphere, D'Banj is determined to make all of his United heroes including Sir Alex Ferguson - a fan of the song.
See the excerpts from the Interview below
I live in Nigeria and I've always been a Man United fan. In Nigeria, football is our thing. On Saturdays and Sundays, there's no traffic, you see people sitting down, everyone is in their house, watching a Premiership match or a Championship match. My family are actually divided; we have Manchester United, which is me, then you have Arsenal fans and Chelsea fans. It's very interesting on match days, that's why every Saturday we're watching a game - either to support someone or to not support someone. Either way you're watching the match.I was just saying a couple of weeks back, I was in the States and I saw a Tweet from Rio Ferdinand, saying he was a big fan. He's actually been to Nigeria and he said 'Oliver Twist', my single, was actually his favourite Afrobeat song. I was like, get on the phone to Sir Alex Ferguson, get me to that locker room and I'll perform it for him before he goes out for his next match. It was so inspiring, because it's my first single coming out, and for Rio Ferdinand to say that, I know that's like me getting the stamp of approval. Tom Cleverley also gave props to 'Oliver Twist' on Twitter. I know he's injured so a speedy recovery to him.I would be honoured to have players do my 'Oliver Twist' dance. I would actually come to the locker room - any one - and actually do it with them. I know Sir Alex Ferguson could do it, he needs to just move, move his shoulders. You don't have to be a professional dancer, you can even do it with the ball. That's the mission - get the players doing that.

African Girl Bares It All Out At Tim Westwood’s Naked Azonto Dance Competition (Video)

Over the weekend Tim “Big Dawg” Westwood hosted a FREE “rave” at the O2 Arena in London. Photographs of the event were then posted on Facebook and then promptly removed by Westwood because they created such a stir. I have only been able to see a few of the pictures and all I can do is shake my head. What an embarrassing MESS!!! Scroll down to view some of the photographs. Anyway at some point during the evening there was the ‘Azonto‘ dance competition.

One Miss Fonteyne sums this footage by saying , “He really did make the ‘monkeys’ dance . Deep…. I blame poor parenting, People stuck with a slave mentality giving birth to kids who grow up to become even dumber”. There aren’t enough words for the young lady dancing bare foot and exposing her knickers. Leave your comments below…

NEW MUSIC: ‘DANCE’ – R2BEES FEAT WIZKID

Looks like Ghanaian act R2bees have mastered the formula for creating hit sounds when they collaborate with their Nigerian counterparts.

After a successful collabo with Mo’Hits singer Wande Coal on ‘Kiss your hands (KYH)‘ single, the duo have managed to stay afloat with in the pop music circle in both countries.

Back with a new single featuring ‘star boy’ Wizkid, R2Bees score another pass mark. Even though Wizzy clearly dominates the song just like Wande did on KYH, the song clearly hits the pass mark. Not bad an attempt.
