New Music: Felix Duke – Cynthia ft Patoranking

The veteran singer, Felix Duke who has many albums and awards to his credit is here with a new single titled “Cynthia” and this features the incredible raggae ​artiste, Patoranking
Felix Duke released his highly successful debut album “My season” in 1996 which had tracks like “ Wa lare” {come on everybody} which won several awards.

Four years in the studio and three tours of Africa later, Felix released his second album “Mr Goody Goody”which also had tracks like “Baba Baba” Feature 2 face Idibia and Sunny Neji, the success of this album earned him the prestigious FAME music award for the best reggae music of the year in 2000. This confirmed Felix Duke’s status as a serious player on the Africa music scene.

Capitalizing on this acclaim, felix went on to support and headline with some of Nigeria’s greatest musicians and artistes. He has worked with Isaac Black, King Waleman, Uche Ibeto, Stella Monye, Evi- Edna Ogosi, Daddy Showkey, Sunny Neji, Blackky, Raskimono, Lt Shotgun, Daniel Wilson, Charly Boy and many more.

Well known in his native Africa, the name Felix Duke has also spread to Europe. Felix has taken his special sound to the carnivals and concerts in Nuremberg, Munich {Germany}, Tourino, Rome and Naples {Italy} and closed his 2001 Europe tour at London’s Wembley arena.

In 2005 Felix Duke went round the same countries he played in 2001, and it was a great success.

Felix was so won over by the vibe of the UK’s capital that he decided to make his home there. The Nigerian Diaspora welcomes him with open arms by asking him to play at the Miss Nigeria UK competition held at the Hackney Empire.

2005, Felix Duke relocated back to Nigeria and released another hit album “Joanna” In 2006 Joanna was so successful that the album gave him several awards both in Nigeria and abroad.

Felix Duke who not too long ago came back from tour in New York , Maryland, Atlanta, DC, Dallas all in the {United State of America} in May 2012, is out again with a brand new single titled Cynthia along with Patoranking and 100 Degrees.

In 2009, I begun this amazing season where I would write music to God as my morning devotion. It was a unique time of discovery and I felt it was a unique way to give of myself, open and sincere. It wasn’t long that I realized that I was receiving way more than I was giving. Every beautiful exchange with God always leaves us with more.
I was also humbled when I got this heartfelt assurance that he thought the songs were perfect.  Perfect?? If you’ve ever written music you would know that ‘perfect’ is the one word that simply evades. Well, it has taken a number of years to make and here it is. Confidence Haugen Getting New Boobs

The Gorgeous Confidence Haugen, Chief Executive Officer of Aphrodisiac Night Club, has started saving money to replace her breast implants which will expire in three years from now, sources she confided in have told News One. Confidence, currently 37 years old, had the boob job when she was 30 and reports say she was cautioned to replace them every three years. She suffered a few complications after the fist implant and had to jet in and out of Ghana a couple of times for ‘specialist treatment’

before the situation was brought to normal but with a stern warning that she can get them replaced every ten years. “One other thing Confidence talks of very passionately is the desire to have a daughter. But she says if she does not get a baby girl before she goes for the boobs thing again, then she would rather remain a mother of one,” the source disclosed. Though breast implants go a long way in boosting one’s self esteem and can transform sagging breast into well rounded and firms ones, with erect nipples, they come with all sorts of complications if not properly fixed by a specialist. The cost of breast augmentation varies. Some quack surgeons

charge between $3000 and $15000 whilst specialist surgeons charge between $20,000 to $45,000 or even more. Normally, the cost depends on the caliber of the surgeon, the type of anesthesia used and where the surgery takes place. Sometimes, the cost of boob implants by a specialist may cost as much as $50,000 aside travelling and accommodation expenses. The treatment may however cost more if the implants are not replaced on time and complications set in. Out of an apparent

fear of further complications, Confidence is said to be preparing to meet her deadline and that explains why she is saving towards the operation. At age 37 and blessed with a 7-year-old son, Troy, Confidence still possesses the looks of someone far younger than her age.

The multi award winning record label, Chocolate City, is home to some of the music industry’s top house hold names, such as M.I, Jesse Jagz, Iceprince, and Brymo.

With the rapid growth of the label and increasing success of artist management, Chocolate City has proven to be a hub of talent exploitation, and manifestation. It is no surprise that a lot of youth, internationally and locally, have reached out to be signed to the label, in hopes of achieving their dreams.

So far, Chocolate City has an all-male cast as its line up, and the general public have bugged the label to sign a female act. Chocolate City, known for setting trends, decided to bide their time, and look out for the girl that possessed qualities of a Choc BOI – Bold, Original, Innovative.

Pryse knew she had to nurture her passion, so she went to study media in Nottingham, UK. While in the UK, she took up writing her own songs, and co-producing with her older brother. Majek Fashek Set To Release New Album

Majek Fashek is set to complete his comeback with the release of his new album sometime this year. The album will be his sixth album in Nigeria.

“I already have about four or five albums. I got a new single out but I’m working on an album that will released in Nigeria”, he said.

According to him he will be working with new generation artists, 2face & Black Face as well as others in the upcoming album.

Speaking on his life in the U.S, Majek who has been battling a drinking problem for years disclosed that he was in Nigeria to escape the harsh economic climate in America.

“I had to leave there because they were sucking my blood. So I ran. I’m just glad I have peace of mind right now; you can have all the money in the world but end up dead or unhappy.” he said
