If you’re not familiar with Boogey then you need to get yourself familiar with this name, and very quick too. He’s been featured in our bubbling under segment, and word is he’ll be on MI’s Illegal Music 2 which should be dropping this weekend.
Before all that though, he’s here on DJ Klem’s new series, DJ Klem Presents… He drops a new track titled, Beautiful Mind. Check it out.

The song speaks about Boogey’s experience coming up as a rapper and offers a ray of hope for anyone with a similar story. DJ Klem even gets his “T-Pain” on gracing the hook of the song.
Boogey (real name David Iye Odey) is a 25 year old biologist who studied in Morocco after he finished his secondary education at Federal Government College Lagos, popularly known as IJ (Ijanikin). He won the 6th edition of “underground” last year and more recently placed second on Terry tha rapman’s “zombie” contest and is featured
on MI’s Illegal Music 2.
He describes his style as “hip hop doused with consciousness, poetry, intellect, humor, love and rebellion.” Up next for Boogey is the release of his mixtape, Art-ificial Intelligence.”
