Luv FM’s flagship presenter Anita Akua Kyerewaa Kuma has described Ghana’s rap sensation Sarkodie,as the best of his generation.The popular radio icon with a longstanding dominance over midmorning radio in Kumasi, made these remarks in an exclusive interview with event publicist and blogger, Kwabena Agyeman-Kobia,saying Sarkodie is a phenomenal success citing his recent nominations at the GMA’s coupled with his latest eighteen track album release as enough justification for his utter dominance of the Ghanaian music scene in recent times.
Anita who couldn’t hide her elation about Sarkodie’s decision to replicate the Rapperholic Album Launch in Kumasi, again stated that she was all too excited to have learnt that ‘The Rapperholic’, Sarkodie was a complete teetotal and also drug free.
The ‘Azonto King’,Sarkodie is expected to do a live-band rendition of all his tracks,with utter support from sensational hiplife artistes such as Guru,Dcryme,Efya,Raquel,Tiffany,Edem,Ketche,StayJay,Awal and others yet-to-be-named,in a show that is expected to draw the Garden City’s biggest ever Easter crowd, in the part two of the Rapperholic Album Launch on Easter Sunday,April 8 at the Royal Lamerta Hotel in Kumasi.
