Reliable information reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese aka 'Abodam' has currently been detained at the Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom.
According to a source in London, the ‘mad man’ who flew of out Ghana yesterday evening at about 11pm, to begin a tour “The Popping Tour” in the UK was refused entry into London and detained for several hours because of incomplete traveling documents.
The source said even though Kwaw tried all he can to convince the officials and made several calls to his partners in the UK, they insist that there is no way he will be allowed entry. “I can see Kwaw Kese walking around the airport looking frustrated and disappointed”, the source said
When Peacefmonline.com contacted Kwaw Kesse’s manager, Fennec Okyere few hours ago, he confirmed that Kwaw has called him that he has indeed been refused entry and that “As we speak now he is still at the Heathrow Airport waiting for the next available flight back to Ghana”, Fennec revealed.
He said when he spoke to Kwaw who has already spent over 5 hours at the airport; it seems there were some incomplete documentation and certain inconsistency in his travel documents. “Kwaw told me officials at the airport said there is a problem with his work and stay permit documentation so there is no way he will be allowed to enter UK”, Fennec said.
He explained that even though Kwaw had all the right documents from Ghana which was why he was allowed to pass through the Kotoka International Airport; it seems his partners back in the UK didn’t have something right and the home office of the UK immigration said he has to be flown back home.
As it stands now, the only option the “Odeim” rapper has is to come back to Ghana and get all his documents right both in Ghana and the UK before he can go back. His manager, Fennec Okyere said “I want to use this opportunity to apologize to all Kwaw Kese fans in the UK who were looking forward for this tour. Obviously Kwaw is in the UK now but he has been refused entry. We are going to do whatever we can to bring Kwaw Kese back to the UK for the tour as early as possible”.
Even though, Kwaw Kese has traveled extensively to the Americas and some parts of Europe, this was the first time he was going to the UK.
