Freshkizz popularly known as Samuel .I. Irisoh is a muti-talented Nigerian born Belgium citizen. A singer, screenplay writer, actor, and an aspiring film producer. Freshkizz, acquired his primary, secondray and university education in Nigeria before migrating to join his families in Belgium.
Freshkizz, started music at a very tender age but started music professionally 7/8 years ago. He always wanted to be a show man. So along the way he fell in love with football, football being another form of entertainment became his first choice because of his passion for the game. Freshkizz who attained a Bsc in Business Administration from the Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma went on to play for a division two club in Belgium at the time, but after playing for less than a year he substained an injury that ended his football carrier. After the injury Freshkizz found his music again since then he has never looked back.
Freshkizz who sees himself as a versatile musician, wants to be as successful as the best of the best in the music world. He sees himself as different from others because he feels he his a breath of fresh love in the music scene. That’s one reason he calls himself Freshkizz, though the name just came from a thin air but he sees himself and Fresh breeze, fresh kiss, fresh love and fresh everything. Freshkizz whose style of music can’t be easily apprehended because he does all style/genre of music when God gives him the inspiration for it. That’s why he doesn’t like to be tagged as an R&b artist, Hip hop artist, Afro pop or a gospel artist artist etc. He just wants to be called a musician or an artist.
Freshkizz who just recently moved back home after spending more than eight years in Belgium, has just released his first official single and video titled BABY WALANCOLOGO, a title he adopted from one of his idol’s, the legendary ALEX ZITO. Though the lyrics and sound of his version is very different from the Legendary ALEX ZITO’S version, he (Freshkizz) choose to use the said title because he grew up listening to ALEX ZITO, so his (Freshkizz) version is actually like saying thank you to Mr. ALEX ZITO and remembering the legend.
Freshkizz likes artist like 2face, Akon, R kelly, Usher, Micheal Jackson, Bob marley, Lucky, dube, Jimmy cliff, Tracy Chapman, Jay Z, Diddy, Tupac, B.i.g, and most recently P square, M.i, Timaya, Ice prince, D’banj, Flavour, Banky w, Wizkid and every good artist out there. So now you see why he says he doesn’t have a particular style of music.
