Meet Abigail Dawson – 21 year old video vixen making a name in Showbiz!


Twenty-one-year-old Abigail Dawson, a former student of Koforidua Polytechnic, is a model and dancer. She was the winner of the third edition of the Exopa New Faces contest. She is a video vixen and has also featured on selected significant runway shows. She was one of the dancers who displayed some great azonto moves at the last Ghana Music Awards in front of over 5000 music fans and TV viewers.

She has great passion for dancing and modeling; a unique feature about her that not many individual dancers and models have. Abigail hails from Mampong Akwapim in the Eastern Region and read Business Studies Secretaryship at Koforidua Polytechnic. As a child, she had wanted to become a broadcast journalist, but the dream is yet to materialize.

Currently, she is very comfortable with being a video vixen and a model because they fetch her good money. Abigail’s love for entertainment began when she was made entertainment prefect at Akim State College where she had her high school education.

At the polytechnic, she contested for Miss Akwaaba and she was the first runner-up. She also took part in Miss Akwentu Kesie and was the first runner-up. Currently, she has done a number of TV ads. She is the face of Zed Pineapple Drink and also stars in ‘Esi Maame’ series on TV3. She has appeared on a lot of shows.

A couple of weeks ago, she was in Nigeria as part of a show. Among the music videos she has appeared in included Stay J’s ‘Shashewowo’, Keche- ‘Pressure’, R2Bees – ‘Kiss ur hands’, O.J Blaq- ‘Charley Wotey’, Diamond- ‘Popping’, Asaseban’s ‘Dabenda’ and Buk Bak’s ‘Kolom’
